Wellington Squash club 2nd team slump to another defeat.

On Monday evening Wellington squash club 2nd team visited Westlands for the penultimate round of league matches. Mike Broom started the match and for the first time took a game off the Westlands no.1. Unfortunately he was unable to maintain the required standard and lost 3-1, 9-3, 0-9,1-9, 3-9. Phil Griffith at no.5 had a comfortable win against his opposite number winning 9-0, 9-7, 9-2.

Another lesson from the teachers for the 2nd team. Thirds in a Westland spin.

On Monday evening Wellington squash club 2nd team entertained Taunton School and came away smarting after another defeat. James Luard stared slowly in his first game and looked well out of sorts losing it 5-9. However once the pullover and tracksuit were removed things picked up and he won the second game 9-5.

Wellington 2nds and Wellington 3rds both win.

Wellington 2nd team took on Huish Episcopi 2nd team on Monday night and just managed a close win.
Wellington 2nd team without two regulars Brian Davenport and James Luard brought in two of the clubs teenagers as replacements, Andrew Ford and Jamie Strawford.
