The Cottage Cup, part of the Federation's Golf Society annual list of events, will take place at Oake Manor Golf Club on Friday 1st August 2008. More details in the summer.

Autumn Trophy and Spring Salver:

As we have not played the Autumn Trophy in 2007, we have one event to catch up; to achieve this, I have booked a 36 hole day at Minehead on Sunday 30th March. The morning round will be for the Autumn Trophy (individual stableford) and the afternoon round will be for the Spring Salver. First tee off is 10:00.

Our popular summer meeting will take place on Friday 6th July 2007 at Oake Manor Golf Club, nr. Taunton. The following has been arranged:

Morning:
0800 Breakfast, tea, coffee can be taken if you wish.
0845 Announcements and formalities. Notification of revised society handicaps.
0900 – 0945 Eleven holes ‘strings’ competition (Twos/Threes depending on numbers).

Lunch:

There are forums for Cricket, Football, Golf and 'General' at the moment. I'll add the other clubs if required, please contact me if you'd like any added.

The Annual General Meeting of the Federation Golf Society will be held at the Dolphin Inn on Wednesday 7th March at 8pm.  Please note that this is the only occasion in a year when new members may be elected.  TEAM CAPTAINS: Please pass this date on to members in your team.

A date of Friday 6th July has been fixed for the 2007 Cottage Cup.  More details to follow in time.

The Wellington Federation of Sports Club Golf Society will have three fixtures in 2007, as is the norm.  This will start with the Silver Salver, a Team Trophy for individual clubs with 5 members or more, on Sunday 15th April.  More details ...
