Welly must wait ...
WELLINGTON will have to wait to discover if they will collect three points from their game against bottom club Almondsbury on Saturday.
The match was abandoned after 85 minutes in appalling weather and Toolstation League officials will now meet to decide whether the result should stand.
Striker Nick Woon scored three more goals to add to the four he got in the previous Wednesday’s 12-1 win over Shepton Mallet.
Jon Crowford gave Wellington the lead but Guilaume Mauries levelled for Almondsbury.
Woon restored Wellington’s lead before the break and skipper Simon Ingram made it 3-1 early in the second half. Woon got his second on the hour mark and completed his hat-trick with the last kick of the game.
On Good Friday, Wellington are home to Elmore (3.00) but they are without a game on Saturday and Easter Monday.
